Free Reception Pavilion

 

 

The

Canadian Diamond Pavilion

is available free for Dulcinea's bridal couples. 

 

 

 

 

Spence Diamonds of Canada funded this elegant pavilion to give newlyweds a quiet place for a wedding toast with wine or champagne, and a small cake-cutting ceremony. It is available only to couples who reserve Chapel Dulcinea.

Contact the Welcome Center to reserve the pavilion.  Although it's free, we need to know when it's being used.

There are no tables or chairs in the pavilion.  You can rent tables and chairs for $10.00 per table and $4.00 per chair from the Welcome Center or bring your own.  The small size of the pavilion (20' X 20') makes it perfect for serving wedding cake and punch, but no food is allowed except wedding cakes. Remember, your use of the pavilion is limited to the same 2-hour window that you have reserved for the Chapel.


Do not mistake this for a party pavilion.  Because of its proximity to Chapel Dulcinea, we don't allow loud music.

It's very important for you to leave the facility clean, so please bring your own trash bags and a broom. DO NOT leave drinks, food crumbs or trash in the pavilion. Any guests found to be unruly will be evicted from the property. (We hate to have to say things like that, but we've occasionally had guests who were disrespectful or destructive and their defense has always been, "But this is public property!" No, it isn't. You are the guests of gracious hosts on private property. So make sure Cousin Whoever doesn't have too much to drink or he could wind up spoiling things for everyone, okay? Enough said.)

If you want to have a wedding reception with food and dancing, you will need to use a different facility.  Nearby reception venues include Salt Lick, Creekside Pavilion, Tuscan Hall or Kali-Kate.
